Baby travel packing list

Start with the documents, which take the longest. Rules marked Changi or ICA come from their own pages; the rest is what parents pack.

  • ICA asks every traveller to submit it within 3 days before arriving, except those transiting and residents coming through Woodlands or Tuas. It is free, and you can submit it for your baby. Source: ICA

  • Blood type and allergies, as HealthHub suggests. Source: HealthHub

At Changi and on the plane

  • Baby food and breast milk can go over the 100ml limit if your baby flies with you. Expressed milk without the baby goes in 100ml containers in a 1-litre bag. Source: Changi Airport

Questions parents ask

Does my baby need a passport to travel from Singapore?

Yes, every traveller needs one. ICA waives the fee for a Singapore citizen's first passport if you apply on MyICA on or before the first birthday.

Can I bring breast milk through security at Changi?

Yes. Changi exempts baby food and breast milk from the 100ml rule when your infant is travelling with you. Without the baby, use containers of 100ml or less in a 1-litre resealable bag.

Where are my ticks saved?

In this browser on this device, and nowhere else. Nothing is sent to us. Clearing your browsing data or opening the list on another phone starts it fresh, so use Print if you want a paper copy.
