As of 11 October 2026, every Singaporean household can still claim and spend two tranches of CDC vouchers: $300 released on 2 January 2026, valid until 31 December 2026, and $500 released on 11 June 2026, valid until 31 December 2027. Each tranche is split evenly between hawkers and heartland shops and supermarkets. Another $300 is due in January 2027, announced on 29 July 2026. One person in the household claims at go.gov.sg/cdcv with Singpass and forwards the SMS link to the family. To use CDC vouchers, open that link at the counter, pick the voucher type and amount, and let the merchant scan the QR code. This guide dates every amount, explains how to claim and share the vouchers, and lists where you can and cannot use them.

All details come from the official CDC Vouchers site, MOF, the Singapore Budget site and SupportGoWhere, read on 11 October 2026.

The $800 announced at Budget 2025 was paid as $500 in May 2025 and $300 in January 2026. Budget 2026, on 12 February 2026, announced another $500 for January 2027, which the government brought forward to June 2026 in an announcement in Parliament on 7 April 2026. The January 2027 $300 is part of the Second Support Package announced on 29 July 2026; the claim date has not been announced. Expiry dates are final, and unspent vouchers cannot be renewed.

Who gets CDC vouchers

Every household with at least one Singapore Citizen gets them, with no application needed. Only one member of the household needs to claim, online with Singpass. The scheme goes by the address on your NRIC. If your NRIC address is out of date or you share a flat with another household, you will not lose out as long as you can show proof, such as a tenancy agreement or a marriage certificate, that you are a separate household.

If another household at your address has already claimed, visit your nearest community centre or club before 15 December 2026 with your NRIC and proof that you are a separate household, such as a tenancy agreement or proof of an overseas address.

How to claim and share your vouchers

  1. Go to go.gov.sg/cdcv.
  2. Log in with Singpass.
  3. Wait for an SMS from "gov.sg" with your household's voucher link.
  4. Open the link and choose the voucher type and amount you want to spend.

Forward the SMS to the rest of your household so everyone can spend from the same balance. You do not need an app. Each tranche has its own link, so the June 2026 link is different from the January 2026 one. If you lose the SMS, log in at go.gov.sg/cdcv again and the existing link is sent to you. To avoid scams, check that the sender is Gov.sg and that the link starts with https://voucher.redeem.gov.sg. No letters have been posted since the May 2025 tranche.

Without Singpass or a smartphone

Ask a family member to help first. If no one can, go to your nearest community centre or club with your identity card and a valid Singpass account, and staff can help you print the vouchers. You can also authorise someone outside your household to claim for you at the community centre with a completed authorisation form. Seniors and persons with disabilities get priority queues. Printed vouchers work like cash: anyone who finds lost ones can spend them. The People's Association hotline, 6225 5322, runs from 8am to 6pm daily except public holidays.

How to use CDC vouchers at the counter

You don't need an app, the CDC Vouchers site says. Everything happens in the link from your SMS:

  1. Look for the decal: teal "CDC Voucher" for hawkers and heartland shops, yellow "CDC Supermarket Voucher" for supermarkets.
  2. Open your voucher link and choose the right tab: hawkers and heartland merchants, or supermarkets.
  3. Pick the amount. Vouchers come in $2, $5 and $10 values, and you can stack up to 15 on one QR code.
  4. Show the QR code to the merchant, who scans it.
  5. Check the screen: the QR code changes to "Redeemed" with the merchant's name and the time. Your balance updates in the same link.

Merchants can't give change, so round down and pay the rest in cash. The CDC Vouchers FAQ gives this example for an item costing $6.90:

You useWhat happens
$7 in vouchers ($5 + $2)The 10 cents is lost; no change is given
$5 in vouchersYou pay the other $1.90 in cash

In one purchase you can scan several QR codes, which helps when two family members each hold a share of the link. Printed vouchers from a community centre work the same way at the counter, but they're like cash if you lose them.

Where you can spend them

You can use CDC vouchers at participating hawkers, heartland merchants and supermarkets anywhere in Singapore, not only in your own constituency. Look for the decal: teal "CDC Voucher" stickers mark hawkers and heartland shops, and yellow "CDC Supermarket Voucher" stickers mark supermarkets. The official map at go.gov.sg/cdcvouchers shows who accepts them.

The supermarket half works only at participating supermarket chains. The official list for the 2024 tranche named NTUC FairPrice, Sheng Siong, Giant, Cold Storage, Prime, HAO Mart, U-Stars and Ang Mo Supermarket; check the map for the current list before you shop.

  • You cannot buy alcohol, cigarettes, lottery products, petrol or diesel with them.
  • They do not work online or for e-commerce.
  • They cannot be resold or exchanged for cash or gift vouchers.
  • Merchants cannot give change, but you can top up the difference in cash.
  • You can stack up to 15 digital vouchers per QR code, and scan several QR codes in one purchase.

Not allowed

If you won't use the January 2026 vouchers, you can donate them to an Institution of a Public Character through the KampungSpirit website between 1 October and 31 December 2026, the FAQ says.

Making them go further for a young family

Spend the January 2026 vouchers first, because they expire on 31 December 2026 while the June 2026 tranche lasts until the end of 2027. The supermarket half suits staples like rice, eggs, milk and nappies; the hawker and heartland half works at hawker stalls, provision shops and other heartland shops with the teal decal near your block. If you will not use your January 2026 vouchers, you can donate them to a charity of your choice between 1 October and 31 December 2026 through the KampungSpirit website.
