Changi Festive Village 2026 turns Changi Airport and Jewel into a Pokemon celebration for the year-end holidays. It runs from 3 November 2026 to 3 January 2027 across all four terminals, and Jewel keeps its Pokemon displays up until 31 January. Most of what young kids will love is free: photo spots, giant Pokemon in Jewel's Forest Valley, meet-and-greets with Pikachu and a games lounge. The shopping premiums are the part that needs a minimum spend.

This year it's all about Pokemon turning 30. We read every time and rule on this page on Changi Airport's and Jewel's own event pages on 4 November 2026. Sessions can change or fill up, so check the Changi Festive Village page before you set off.
Changi Festive Village dates, times and costs
Here are the dated parts in one place. The photo spots and displays are there every day, so build your visit around one of the timed things below.
| What is on and where you will find it | Dates and times we checked on 4 November | What it costs and how you get in |
|---|---|---|
| PokeXciting! weekend in Terminal 3, with a dance show and meet-and-greets | Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, 10am to 10pm | Free, and wristbands for each session go first come, first served |
| First Partner Pokemon Parade in Jewel's Forest Valley | Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, at 3pm and again at 6pm | Free, but you need a wristband handed out two hours before |
| Pikachu, Eevee and Snorlax meet-and-greets in the Terminal 3 public area | Select weekends from 14 November to 20 December, at 2pm, 3pm and 6.30pm | Free with no minimum spend, and you queue for a pass 30 minutes before |
| Pokemon Experience Lounge on Level 2 of Terminal 3 | Every day from 4 November to 3 January, between 12pm and 9pm | Free, though each child needs a slot booked on Playpass in the Changi App |
| Giant Pokemon displays and a 3-metre Pikachu across Jewel | From 3 November to 31 January, 10am to 11pm | Free to walk through, with no ticket or purchase needed |
The big weekend: 7 and 8 November
The opening weekend packs in the most. In Terminal 3, PokeXciting! puts on a Pokemon Kids TV dance show at 1pm, with meet-and-greets at 12pm, 2pm, 8.30pm and 9pm. A faster-paced night show plays at 4.30pm and 7.30pm. Pokemon Kids TV runs on the big screen at ST3PS from 10am to 10pm, and colouring stations in the Basement 2 mall open from 12pm to 8pm. Free gifts go out across the airport from 12pm to 8pm while stocks last.
Wristbands for the meet-and-greets are handed out when the queue opens 30 minutes before each session. For the night show, the queue opens 60 minutes before. Once a session's wristbands are gone, that session is full.
Over at Jewel, all 27 First Partner Pokemon march through Forest Valley in a 30-minute parade at 3pm and 6pm on both days. Wristbands come out on site two hours before each parade, one per person in the queue, and they can't be swapped or passed on. The holding area at Level 1 East Canyon, near Ya Kun Kaya Toast, opens an hour before the show.
It's a standing event, and Jewel asks guests to leave luggage and bulky belongings at the Level 1 baggage storage first. A baby carrier will be easier than a pram. Tripods, selfie sticks and flash photos aren't allowed in the viewing area, and nobody can eat or drink there.
Forest Valley itself closes from 12pm to 7pm on both days, and the Rain Vortex is switched off from 1.15pm to 3.30pm and 4.30pm to 6.30pm. If the waterfall is the reason you came, go in the morning. Jewel also hands out goodies on Level 1, opposite Porsche, from 12pm to 9pm on both days.
Meeting Pikachu, Eevee and Snorlax on later weekends
Crowds on the opening weekend? Wait a week. From 14 November to 20 December, Pikachu, Eevee and Snorlax meet families in the Terminal 3 public area on select weekends, at 2pm, 3pm and 6.30pm, and it costs nothing, not even a minimum spend. You collect a pass when the queue opens 30 minutes before. When the passes run out, that session is full. Changi doesn't provide photos, so bring your phone.
Changi also runs Pokemon parades and meet-and-greets in the departure transit areas on set dates in November and December. Those are for families who are flying that day, so don't plan a day out around them.
Free Pokemon things to do on any day
The Pokemon Experience Lounge sits on Level 2 of Terminal 3, near check-in row 11, in the public area. It opens from 12pm to 9pm daily until 3 January. Kids can try two new games, Pokemon Pokopia and Pokemon Champions, for 20 minutes each, or a 30-minute Trading Card Game tutorial that ends with a free Fun Pack. Every activity is free, but you book a slot on Playpass in the Changi App, up to 7 days ahead, and each slot is for one player.
The lounge is open to all ages. Changi asks parents to check that a game suits their child's age and reading level, which matters more for a four-year-old than for a nine-year-old.
Around the terminals, Pokegenic photo spots stand on Level 2 of Terminal 3 near Starbucks and in Basement 2 by ST3PS. Floral Pokemon displays fill the Terminal 1 Arrival Garden and Level 2 of Terminal 2. None of them needs a ticket, a purchase or a booking.
Jewel has the biggest set pieces. Forest Valley has four themed zones (Eevee Evolution, Snorlax, Mewtwo and Pikachu) and a Pikachu three metres tall. Giant Trading Card Game displays of all 27 First Partner Pokemon line the shopping corridors from Basement 1 to Level 5. Pick up a quiz rally card, find the answers on the displays, and swap the finished card for a 30th anniversary postcard at the Basement 1 Atrium counter, between Birkenstock and ZARA. The counter opens from 11am to 10pm, last redemption at 9.30pm, while stocks last.
The parts that cost money
Pokemon pop-up stores sell anniversary merchandise and card packs on Level 2 of Terminals 2, 3 and 4 and in Terminal 3's Basement 2, opposite Kopitiam, from 10am to 10pm. The Pokemon Mezastar arcade is at #B2-51A in Terminal 3 from 10am to 10pm until 1 January. Changi's page doesn't give its prices.
Spend at least S$60 in one receipt at Jewel and you can buy a premium for S$9.90 to S$18.90, such as a Pikachu or Eevee plushie at S$18.90. A S$100 receipt gets you a go at the Pokemon Memory Challenge for prizes. A S$60 spend at participating airport outlets also unlocks a Pokemon cap or Poke Ball bag for S$12.90, which you collect at the Terminal 3 Basement 2 counter near ST3PS. Name embroidery costs S$9.90 more. None of this is needed to enjoy the free parts.
Getting there by MRT, bus and on foot
Changi Airport MRT station (CG2) links straight into Terminals 2 and 3. Take the East West Line to Tanah Merah and change for the airport, or take the Downtown Line to Expo and change there. Buses 24, 27, 34, 36, 44, 53, 110 and 858 all stop at Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
Jewel sits between the terminals in the public area. It's a 5 to 10-minute walk from Terminal 2 over the Level 3 link bridge near the MRT station, and the same from Terminal 3's departure halls over the bridge near Crowne Plaza. Link bridges in the public area join Terminals 1, 2 and 3, and the walk between them takes 5 to 10 minutes.
Strollers, baby care rooms and food
Changi lends baby strollers for free, first come, first served, at its information counters, and Jewel's concierge counters have them too. Baby care rooms with changing tables and hot water dispensers are spread across all four terminals and Jewel. The indoor play areas in every terminal are built for kids aged one to 12, so there's somewhere to let off steam between Pokemon stops.
For food in Terminal 3, the Kopitiam in Basement 2 sits opposite the Pokemon pop-up store. In Jewel, Ya Kun Kaya Toast is right by the parade holding area. Eat before you join a parade queue, because food isn't allowed in the viewing area.
Rain plan and opening hours
Rain won't spoil this one. Everything is indoors, and the MRT station links straight into Terminals 2 and 3. The Pokemon Experience Lounge keeps 12pm to 9pm. Jewel's displays are open from 10am to 11pm, and the pop-up stores from 10am to 10pm.
For more on the airport with kids, our Changi Airport guide covers the play areas by terminal, and the Jewel guide has Canopy Park and the Rain Vortex. The school holiday guide and the Christmas guide list other dated events for the break.
