USS Halloween has two sides, and only one of them is for children. By day, Universal Studios Singapore runs Trick or Thrills, a family Halloween with a new Minions dance party, free sweets and characters in costume, every day until Sunday 1 November 2026. On select nights the same park becomes Halloween Horror Nights 14, a separate ticketed event with four haunted houses. This guide is about the daytime side: the dates and hours, the nights that cut your day short, tickets, ages, and how to get there with a stroller.

You don't need a separate Trick or Thrills ticket. Book a normal USS one-day ticket for your date and the Halloween programme comes with it. RWS prices tickets by date, and the figures above are the peak-date prices on its ticket page. It also sells an Evening Entry ticket, which lets you in from 4pm and adds a $20 meal voucher. On a Horror Nights date the family programme stops at 6pm, so an evening ticket would give you two hours of it at most.

Universal Express is an add-on you buy on top of the park ticket. It skips the regular queue once at each participating ride and show, and Express 3 covers any three of them.

What your kids will see at Trick or Thrills

  • The Belloween Ball, a new dance party where the Minions turn up in monster costumes for music and plenty of mayhem.
  • Team members hand out free fruity marshmallows and candy around the park and at some meet-and-greet sessions, which is the trick-or-treat part of the name.
  • Cookie Monster and Count from Sesame Street wear Halloween costumes this year, and so do Shrek, Fiona and the Fairy Godmother.
  • The legends of Egypt for photos: the Sorceress, the Anubis Guards and Ammu'khet, who spreads his wings.
  • Kuromi, the Sanrio character, makes her Halloween debut in a Halloween outfit, and you can only meet her at Superstar Boutique.

Look out for Halloween food and snacks around the park, and Halloween-only souvenirs in the shops. The USS app shows the day's meet-and-greet times and show times, so open it when you get in and fit the character meets around nap time.

Which ages it suits

RWS pitches Trick or Thrills at the whole family, and none of its parts lists an age limit. The Minions, Cookie Monster and the free sweets are an easy win with toddlers and preschoolers. Ammu'khet is a different story. RWS calls him fearsome, and a big winged creature can scare a two-year-old, so watch that meet from a distance first and let your child decide.

Halloween Horror Nights is not part of a family day. It needs its own ticket, runs from 7.30pm to 12.30am, and RWS rates its live shows Advisory 16 or PG13 for horror. On those dates the family programme ends at 6pm, before the night event begins.

For the rides, our USS family guide goes zone by zone with the height rules, Child Swap and the gentlest rides for small children.

The best days to go before 1 November

RWS doesn't publish a crowd forecast for the day park. Its own calendars still help. For the rest of its run, Horror Nights takes over on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and on the final Sunday, 1 November, and RWS marks each of those dates as a peak night. On those seven days Trick or Thrills stops at 6pm.

That leaves Monday 19 to Wednesday 21 October and Sunday 25 to Wednesday 28 October, when the programme runs the full 10am to 8pm. The Ministry of Education's Term 4 runs until Friday 20 November, so every weekday before Halloween ends is a school day and no school holidays fall in this window. With a baby or toddler, a weekday or Sunday 25 October gives you the longest day and no rush to get out by 6pm.

Once you're inside, the USS app shows the waiting time for each attraction.

Getting there by MRT, bus, taxi or on foot

  • By MRT: take the train to HarbourFront, walk up to Level 3 of VivoCity and board the Sentosa Express to Resorts World Station. RWS lists a $4 Sentosa entry charge, which you pay with an EZ-Link or contactless card. The monorail runs from 7am to midnight.
  • By bus: the RWS8 leaves from HarbourFront MRT Exit C and reaches the B1 Transport Hub at Resorts World Sentosa in about three stops. It costs $1 going in and nothing coming out. Public bus 123 also stops at the B1 Transport Hub and comes every 15 minutes.
  • By taxi or ride-hail: ask for the B1 Casino drop-off. RWS recommends it for USS, and you pay no toll there.
  • On foot: from HarbourFront MRT, go through VivoCity Lobby F on Level 1, cross the Sentosa Boardwalk and head down to B1.

Strollers, lockers and where to feed the baby

The Baby Center is at Guest Services, on your left as you walk in. It has private nursing rooms, changing beds, a sitting area and feeding chairs for children, and a hot water dispenser for bottles. Every restroom in the park has a diaper changing counter in both the men's and the women's, and Sci-Fi City has its own baby changing room.

Stroller rental is also on the left after the entrance. RWS rents single and double strollers for a fee, first come, first served. Lockers stand beside VIP Reception and in The Lost World, Ancient Egypt and Sci-Fi City. Bought a souvenir early? Any park shop can send it to That's A Wrap, ready to collect three hours later, as long as you buy at least three hours before the park closes.

Food inside the park

RWS says every eatery in USS sells a kids' meal, and each one comes with a child-size drink. Its own suggestions for small appetites are the crispy chicken sliders with nuggets at Mel's, or the creamy chicken stew in Minion Land for older children. During Trick or Thrills, the park adds Halloween-themed food and snacks too.

Rain plan

RWS says any ride, show or attraction can close because of the weather, and the USS page asks you to check its list of temporary closures before you visit. If a storm comes in, head indoors. Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase is an indoor ride with gentle movement that suits young children, and Kuromi's photo spot is inside Superstar Boutique.

Halloween next door at Adventure Cove

If your children like the water, Adventure Cove Waterpark at Resorts World Sentosa runs Legend Keepers, a treasure hunt through five Singapore legends: Kusu Island, Bukit Merah, Sisters' Islands, Radin Mas Ayu and Temasek. You scan a QR code to open the game in your phone's browser, solve a puzzle at each story spot, and the reward at the end is an assortment of candies and treats. It runs daily until 1 November from 10am to 5pm, or until 4pm on Saturdays, and comes with an Adventure Cove one-day ticket.

Its Saturday evening event, Pool Party Panic, is a murder mystery that RWS itself says is not recommended for young children.

Add a free Halloween film on Sentosa

Sentosa's free Spookie Fun Nights is a Halloween edition of Movies by the Beach, with films at 7.30pm beside the Surrender Chambers at Fort Siloso. The first weekend suits children: Night at the Museum (PG) on Saturday 24 October and Dora and the Lost City of Gold (PG) on Sunday 25 October. The last two films are Happy Death Day and its sequel, both PG13 horror, so skip those with little ones. Sentosa says a screening may be cancelled in bad weather.

Saturday 24 October works well for both. Trick or Thrills ends at 6pm that day, which leaves time for dinner and a short ride to Beach Station before the 7.30pm film. Our Sentosa with kids guide has more for the rest of the island, and the What's On page lists the other family events this week.
