DINO-A-LIVE Premium: Dinosaur Odyssey brings 15 life-sized dinosaurs to Singapore for four days only, Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 December 2026, in the Resorts World Ballroom at Resorts World Convention Centre on Sentosa. It's a 70-minute live show from Japan with no words and no interval, and the dinosaurs walk through the room only metres from the seats. Standard tickets start at $58, and a child born in 2024 or later gets in free on your lap. This guide has the show times, the seats that suit a small child, the T-Rex photo add-on and the easiest way there by MRT or bus.

We took every date, time and price here from the organiser's page and the SISTIC ticket page on 22 October 2026. The organiser is Season Entertainment. Look at the official DINO-A-LIVE page again in the week of the show, in case anything moves.

Dinosaur Odyssey show times and ticket prices

There are nine shows in all. Saturday has the most, with four, and its 11am show is the only one in the morning. Each one runs about 70 minutes, so the last column is simple arithmetic from the start time.

DayShow timesOut of the ballroom by about
Thursday 3 December 20268pm9.10pm
Friday 4 December8pm9.10pm

Sunday 6 December2pm, 5pm and 8pm3.10pm, 6.10pm or 9.10pm

Doors open an hour before each show. The organiser asks you to arrive 30 to 45 minutes early so there's time to scan tickets and find your seats, and latecomers wait outside until a suitable moment to go in.

The organiser links to three places to buy: SISTIC, Klook and Trip.com. SG Culture Pass credits can't be used for this show. A family of two adults and two children who are too old for a lap seat pays $320 on the Family Package, against $232 for four of the cheapest standard seats, so the package is worth it only if you want Cat 3.

Which seats suit a small child

The room isn't a normal theatre, and the seat categories sit at different heights. The first two rows of Cat 1 are benches 20cm off the floor, with two rows of banquet chairs at floor level behind them. Cat 2 has chairs on platforms 60cm high. Cat 3 and Cat 4 are tiered, and each row sits 40cm above the one in front.

The front rows put you closest to the dinosaurs as they walk past. A bold five-year-old will love that. A nervous two-year-old may not. A raised Cat 2 or a tiered Cat 3 seat lifts a small child above the heads in front and puts a bit more distance between them and the teeth, which matters even more when they watch from your lap.

Is the show suitable for toddlers and babies?

The organiser calls it a family show for all ages, and SISTIC lists its rating as General. For babies, the rule that counts is the birth year. A child born in 2024 or later goes in free and sits on your lap. A child born in 2023 or earlier needs a ticket of their own. Anyone aged 12 or under has to come with a parent or another responsible adult.

It can be loud and dark in places. The ticket page warns of sudden movements, loud sounds, darkness and special effects, and leaves it to parents to judge whether a younger child will cope. If a child is upset for a long stretch, staff may ask you to step out for a while. Where it's possible, you can keep watching from the lobby on a live video screen, so a wobbly moment doesn't have to end your evening.

It helps to know the story before you go. The show opens with fossils waking up and the first tiny life forms, then moves through the forests of the Jurassic and Cretaceous, where dinosaurs hunt and protect their young. You'll see Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Allosaurus, Suchomimus, Utahraptor, Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops. The big moment is a fight between the Tyrannosaurus and a Triceratops, then a meteor ends the age of the dinosaurs. They come back for a happy finale. Telling a nervous child about the fight and the meteor at home takes most of the shock out of it.

There are no words in the show, so a toddler who can't follow a story yet still gets the whole thing, and so does a grandparent who speaks another language.

The T-Rex photo and the after-show area

Cameras stay away during the show. Photos, video, flash and live-streaming aren't allowed while it runs, and you may take pictures only during the closing curtain. If you want a picture with a dinosaur, the Dinosaur Photo Experience costs $30 on top of your ticket. You get a group photo with a 12-metre, life-sized Tyrannosaurus Rex for up to eight people, a printed copy and an Edokko dinosaur mini plate. Babies in arms count as one of the eight. Only 100 are sold for each show, so add it when you buy your seats.

After the show you can stay on in the Dinosaur Odyssey Activation Area for more photo spots. The DINO Mart there sells dinosaur figures, educational toys and other DINO-A-LIVE merchandise from Japan, so decide on a budget before your child sees it.

Which show to book with a toddler

The run falls in the year-end school holidays. MOE's Term 4 holidays for primary schools and kindergartens go from Saturday 21 November to Thursday 31 December 2026, so older siblings are free every day of it. The organiser doesn't publish which shows sell out first.

With a toddler, the Saturday 11am show is the easy pick if you can get seats, because it's done by lunchtime and clear of the afternoon nap. The 2pm shows on Saturday and Sunday land right on nap time for many two-year-olds. The 8pm shows on all four days finish at about 9.10pm, which suits a school-age child better than a baby.

How to get there by MRT, bus or taxi

  • By MRT and monorail: take the train to HarbourFront, walk up to Level 3 of VivoCity and ride the Sentosa Express to Resorts World Station. You pay the $4 Sentosa entry with an EZ-Link or contactless card. The monorail runs from 7am to midnight, so the 8pm shows leave plenty of time to get home.
  • By bus: the RWS8 leaves from HarbourFront MRT Exit C and stops at the B1 Transport Hub at Resorts World Sentosa after about three stops. It's $1 to go in and free to leave. Public bus 123 also stops at the B1 Transport Hub and comes about every 15 minutes.
  • By taxi or ride-hail: ask for the B1 Casino drop-off. Resorts World Sentosa lists it as the toll-free stop for WEAVE, its restaurants and Resorts World Convention Centre.
  • On foot from HarbourFront: go through VivoCity Lobby F on Level 1, cross the Sentosa Boardwalk and head down to B1 when you reach Resorts World Sentosa.

Food, water and the baby bag

No food or drink is allowed in the performance area, and that rule covers drinking water too. Feed everyone before you go in and keep the snacks for afterwards. If your baby may need a feed mid-show, ask the ushers at the door what they allow. The show pages say nothing about strollers or a nursing room, so ask about those when you arrive as well.

WEAVE, the mall that shares the B1 Casino drop-off with the Convention Centre, makes an easy stop for a meal. On its second level you'll find the Asian Food Hall (#02-201, local food, halal), Din Tai Fung (#02-208) and Chatterbox Cafe (#02-207). A 5pm show ends at about 6.10pm, in time for an early dinner there.

Rain plan and the rest of your day on Sentosa

The show is in a ballroom, so a storm changes nothing about it. If you want to make a day of it, Singapore Oceanarium and Universal Studios Singapore are in the same resort. Our Singapore Oceanarium family guide works well for a rainy morning before an afternoon show, and the USS family guide covers the gentlest rides for small children.

Resorts World Sentosa also sells hotel bundles for the show. A two-night stay at Hotel Ora with Cat 2 seats starts from $1,092 for the first 20 buyers, and The Laurus with Cat 1 seats and the photo shoot starts from $1,793 for the first 30. Both come with breakfast and Singapore Oceanarium tickets for two adults and one child. The show tickets are for the 8pm show on the second day of your stay, and bundles are on sale until 5 December.

Got a dinosaur fan who can't wait until December? The free Changi Jurassic Mile has life-sized dinosaur models along a cycling and walking path. For the rest of December, our Christmas guide for families and the school holiday activities guide have more, and the What's On page lists the family events on this week.
