Confinement centres in Singapore: what each includes and costs
In this article
A confinement centre in Singapore costs $16,888 to $27,800 for a 28-day stay at the centres that print prices on their own websites, and $58,000 or more at the top end, as we read them on 11 October 2026. Several well-known centres only quote on request. For that money you and your newborn check in after the hospital, usually for 14 or 28 days, while staff look after your baby day and night and cook your confinement meals, so you can sleep and heal.
Below are eight centres, what each one's own website says is in the package, and the prices they publish. Then the costs that sit outside the headline figure, and the questions to ask before you pay a deposit. Fussy Mama does not run a confinement centre. For the customs themselves, such as food rules and how long confinement lasts, read our guide to confinement practices in Singapore.
Confinement centre prices in Singapore
Every price here comes from the centre's own website, read on 11 October 2026. A promo figure is the centre's own promotional rate, shown on the same page. Where a centre shows no price, we say so rather than repeat a number from a magazine roundup.

Read the inclusions as closely as the price. One 28-day package may come with a daily herbal bath and a massage every week, while another lists a single massage. The next section sets out what each centre itself says you get.
What each centre says is in the package
Clover Suites
The Clover Suites has two boutique centres, with 9 rooms in Siglap and 14 on Moulmein Road in Novena. Its homepage promises 24-hour care for mum and baby and meals cooked daily. There is an in-house spa too, with facials, a salon and pre and postnatal massage. For anything beyond the room prices, the booking pages send you to a customer relations officer.
SingJoy
SingJoy puts its suites inside hotels and serviced residences. You get three main meals, an afternoon snack, a herbal soup and free-flow herbal tea each day. A full-time IBCLC lactation consultant works in-house, and a SingJoy-trained nanny stays with your baby around the clock. Its confinement page lists a daily herbal shower, lactation massage, a facial, a herbal hair spa and postnatal massage as well. Prices exclude 9% GST. Surcharges for Chinese New Year and twins may apply, and you pay half up front to confirm, with the balance due three days before check-in.
ReJoy Suites
The Deluxe 28-day package gives you a room with its own bathroom and round-the-clock care for you and your baby. Five meals and a TCM soup arrive daily. ReJoy collects you from the hospital, does the laundry for both of you and cleans the room every day. You also get a weekly TCM consultation, baby essentials, RFID tags and a one-to-one baby camera. Your spouse can stay over, and ReJoy gives the price only when you ask.
Hatched
Hatched Confinement Oasis is at 11 Orchard Turn. Maternity nurses and hospital-trained nannies check your vitals and your baby's every day, and a TCM physician visits weekly. Wound care and jaundice monitoring are on the list. So are a daily TCM herbal bath, postpartum massage with a binder, lactation and baby massage, and a lactation consultation every day. Babies wear RFID tags, and you can watch a camera feed of your baby on your phone.
KAI Singapore
KAI is at 26 Dunearn Road. By its own count that is a three-minute drive from Thomson Medical and four from Mount Elizabeth Novena. Its care page covers breastfeeding support and a daily blood pressure check for you. Staff weigh your baby every day and teach you newborn care one to one, and your partner can join a preparation programme. Suites come in Comfort, Deluxe and Premium.
momley LOFT
momley LOFT has twenty suites of up to 742 sq ft, each with a king-size bed, a sofa and a full-size fridge, and staff work round the clock. Babies sleep in a nursery it calls the Stork Room, with 24-hour carers and video monitoring. The services page also mentions free parking, massage, TCM-based meals, and parenting and yoga classes.
NewLife
NewLife Confinement Centre is near West Coast Park and gives each room its own nanny. You eat five meals a day. The package covers herbal baths, ginger hair washes, postnatal massage and help with blocked milk ducts. Staff support breastfeeding and will take you to your clinic review. Herbal steam and pelvic recovery treatments cost extra.
My Queen
My Queen is on Sentosa at 23 Beach View. Its postpartum page offers stays from 3 days up to 28, with nursing care, a lactation consultant and meals planned by a dietitian. Stay prices are not published, though the add-ons are: $60 for a 30-minute lactation massage, and $69 for one baby massage or $199 for three.
Costs outside the headline price
- SingJoy's prices leave out 9% GST, so ask every centre whether its figure includes it.
- SingJoy also warns of surcharges for Chinese New Year and for twins. Ask each centre about those and about public holidays.
- Some treatments cost extra. NewLife bills its herbal steam and pelvic treatments separately, and My Queen sells massages and babysitting on top of a stay.
- ReJoy takes a $2,000 deposit to book online and SingJoy takes half the fee. Find out what happens to that money if your baby comes early or late, or a caesarean keeps you in hospital longer.
- Check whether your partner's meals are included, and who pays for diapers, wipes and formula. My Queen sells them separately in its shop.
A centre stay is usually the biggest single item in the first month's spending. Our baby cost estimator helps you see it next to the delivery bill and everything else.
Centre, nanny or home: which suits you
A centre takes the night shift off your hands and gives you a room away from the housework. A live-in confinement nanny does much of the same work in your home, so you keep your own kitchen and bed, and on SingJoy's own price list she costs far less: its 28-day home nanny package starts at $5,800, against $25,000 for its cheapest 28-day centre stay.
- A centre suits you if you have no spare room for a live-in helper, you want trained staff on the night feeds, and the budget runs to five figures.
- A nanny suits you if you would rather recover at home, you have a room for her, and you want meals cooked to your family's taste. Our guide to hiring a confinement nanny covers the questions to ask.
- Family help plus food delivery suits you if grandparents or your partner can share the nights. It costs least. See our round-up of confinement food delivery in Singapore.
Questions to ask before you pay a deposit
- Who looks after my baby at night, and how many babies does each person cover? Ask whether they are nurses, trained nannies or both.
- Is there an IBCLC lactation consultant, how often will I see one, and can my baby room in with me when I want?
- Does the price include GST, and which surcharges apply for twins, Chinese New Year or public holidays?
- What happens to my booking and deposit if my baby arrives early or late, or I need a longer hospital stay?
- Can my partner stay the night, are their meals included, and can older children visit?
- Which doctor does the centre call if my baby looks jaundiced or I run a fever, and how quickly do they come?
- Can the menu be changed for halal, vegetarian or gestational diabetes diets?
- How are babies tagged and watched? Hatched and ReJoy both list RFID tags and baby cameras.
- What happens if another guest or a staff member falls sick?
Breastfeeding deserves its own question. In a 2023 report by TODAY, carried on CNA, family physician and IBCLC Dr Mythili Pandi said breastfeeding rates at confinement centres tend to be lower, and that good support teaches mothers to care for their babies rather than taking the baby away so mum can rest. Gleneagles obstetrician Dr Christopher Chong advised parents in the same report to read genuine reviews, visit the centre and speak to the people in charge. If feeding matters to you, read our guide to breastfeeding support in Singapore before you tour.
When to book
Each centre sets its own booking rules. SingJoy wants half the fee to confirm and the rest three days before check-in, so plan the money as well as the date. Shortlisting two or three centres in your second trimester leaves time for tours and written quotes before your due date, and a backup plan if your baby arrives early.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a confinement centre cost in Singapore?
From the prices centres publish themselves, a 28-day stay ran from $16,888 to $27,800, apart from SingJoy's hotel suites, which start at $58,000, as read on 11 October 2026. SingJoy's 14-day stays start at $17,800 before GST. KAI, ReJoy, Hatched, momley LOFT and NewLife quote on request.
Which is the cheapest confinement centre in Singapore?
Of the published 28-day prices we read, the lowest was The Clover Suites East Coast's Deluxe room at a promotional $16,888. Several centres keep their prices off their websites, so ask for written quotes, and compare what each package includes before you compare the totals.
Is there a luxury confinement centre in Singapore?
SingJoy's suites at Mandarin Oriental, Conrad Orchard and The St. Regis start at $58,000 for 28 days before GST, the highest published price we found. KAI calls itself a premium confinement hotel but did not show prices on the pages we read.
How long do you stay in a confinement centre?
Most packages run for 14 or 28 days from the day you leave hospital. My Queen also sells stays as short as three days, and SingJoy lists 14-day prices for two of its branches.
Can my husband stay at a confinement centre?
At some. ReJoy lists spouse stays in its package and KAI runs a preparation programme for partners. Ask each centre about overnight stays, meals for your partner and visits from older children before you book.
Do confinement centres help with breastfeeding?
Most list some help. SingJoy has a full-time IBCLC lactation consultant, Hatched offers a lactation consultation every day, and KAI lists breastfeeding support. Ask how often you will see the consultant and whether your baby can stay in your room.
